Media centre
The press office for the Royal Yacht Squadron International Bicentennial Regatta is situated in the NEW Media Centre which is situated in what was the old Fastnet Restaurant in the centre of Cowes Yacht Haven. The newly refurbished building is fully equipped with phones, plug-in broadband, wifi, and ISDN. Access to the Media Centre is from the High Street (opposite Day Lewis Chemist). The Media Centre facilities are strictly reserved for commissioned media and photographers. The media centre will be open each day of the regatta.
Media Centre desk and resource priority will be given to registered media covering secured features. To register your requirement for media centre resources please contact the Event Press Officer.
Registration
All registered media will receive our regular information outputs prior to and during the event. To notify us of your wish to register please contact the Event Press Officer. Please follow us on Twitter @rys_bicentenary.
Photography
The event has an official photographer. He is Paul Wyeth and his images are available free of charge for press publication via the Event Press Officer. To purchase images for other uses please contact Paul preferably by email paul@pwpictures.com or on +44 (0)7549 884 683.

Press boats
There are only limited spaces on the official press boat. Priority will be given to journalists and photographers who are commissioned by their editors to cover secured and agreed feature articles. If you wish to take up a place on a press boat on this basis please contact the Event Press Officer as soon as possible.
Any remaining spaces will be allocated to freelance and other media personnel at the time of the event, strictly depending on availability. However, it is also recommended that these journalists also register their interest as soon as possible, so that we can make every effort to accommodate your requirements.
